At my appointment today I am still 1 cm dilated. Put on one pound, heart rate is 143 BPM, BP is 100/70... yada yada yada... oh, and the Group B Strep test was negative. :) It was kind of anticlimactic... I was expecting things to have progressed more, I've been having lots of Braxton Hicks lately. Oh well, all in good time. ;-)
Matt said two new words today...
- Boat
- Elbow (bow-bow).
I know... Elbow?? VERY random. He said it when I was changing his diaper after trying (unsuccessfully) to get him to nap. He reached up and touched my elbow so I said, "that's mumma's elbow." He got the biggest kick out of that and kept repeating "bow-bow" the rest of the day. LOL!

You are closing in! Only a couple of weeks to go right? I am sure you are looking forward to meeting Jillian. The end is tough:) Remember to get as much rest as you can;) We are so excited for you and Mark, and Matt!
I keep saying to myself - Sarah's first, Sarah's first - like a mantra. LOL!! ;-)
I hate Braxton Hicks! I have them every 2-3 hours all night long. They are not as bad during the day. They dont, however, seem to be getting my anywhere! I was totally dissaointed by my last visit when I found out I was still only 1 cm dilated. ( I have been like that for at least 2 1/2 weeks) All this tecnology and you think they could do better than a 4 week window!!! Due date +/- 2 weeks! Too bad we are not scheduled for the same hospital that would be lots more fun.
Not that I am bitter! Hang in there!
Were you early or late with Matt?
Sarah, Matt was one week early... but I was induced. ;-) It's probably a good thing that we're not delivering at the same hospital, though, because Mark and Dave would be off goofing around in the cafeteria while we labored away. LOL!
I'm sending lots of ELV (Easy Labor Vibes) your way and I hope that we get to meet baby Ian very soon!! Any day now!!
