Busy Week!

It was a busy week! Wednesday we went out to breakfast with my Grandma (Gee Gee to Matt LOL!!) and Uncle Tom, followed by a trip to Toys R' Us, followed by a visit from Jackie and Jadyn followed by dinner at my parents! Phew!! Matthew and Jadyn were so cute together! Matt kept offering Jadyn all his toys... even his revered fire truck! He'd "hand" (thrust) it onto Jadyn's lap, who was sitting on Jackie's lap, fortunately. LOL... I have to teach Matt the concept of "gentle." He really seems to like Jadyn, though, which is fortunate for both of them since they WILL be getting married when they grow up. ;-) Jackie, Ryan and Jackie's parents gave Jillian a huge gift bag full of the cutest little clothes. :) They really went overboard!! My favorite was the little pink 3 piece outfit from the Children's Place. They even bought a little outfit for Matt. :) I'll have to take a picture of the whole "ensemble" and post it. My sister Kate also gave Jillian two of the sweetest little outfits - an Eeyore one (of course!!) and a little pink bear outfit that has a coat complete with a hood with little bear ears!! They really do make the cutest clothes for little girls!

Friday Mark went up to the family beach cottage with Pete to replace a window... it was looking pretty ominous outside this morning so I wasn't sure if I was going to take Matt up there, but after he woke up from his nap, the sun was out so I decided what the heck? and drove up there (it's only a 1/2 hour away). It ended up being a fairly nice afternoon... we had two quick showers, but other than that it was just kind of overcast and in the 70's. Which is actually perfect weather, since you don't have to worry about baking in the hot sun all day. There was a small "pool" left by the low tide on the beach that was filled with about a foot of water and Matt played in that all afternoon. He LOVED it!! We couldn't believe he walked right in! And of course, he called the ocean the "bath!" LOL! Another video:

(I know, I know... I'm video crazy!) Anyway, Jamie and Monique and Nora came up later in the afternoon and Nora and Matt had a ball together. It was so great to watch Matt having so much fun yesterday. I can't wait to take him back to the beach.

Auntie Dolores and April gave Jillian some adorable little outfits from Old Navy... including the most adorable little jeans with little embroidered flowers. :) This is going to be one stylin' little lady!!

I cannot believe that I have 3 1/2 weeks left until my due date. Where the heck did the time go? I feel like I'm huge and it's getting really uncomfortable to move around. I actually had to take my rings off this week because between the humid weather and just being 9 months pregnant, I could barely get them off. I wish I could say that I'm ready to have this baby... and I am, somewhat, but I'm scared stiff at the same time. ;-) In a good way, of course.
