Tom and Jen got married this past weekend. Tom is Mark's cousin and Mark served as an usher/groom's attendant at the wedding. Because of that, Mark and I decided to spend the weekend in Boston so we wouldn't have to drive back and forth all weekend. We asked my parents to watch the kiddos. All week Matt and Jill and I talked about how Daddy and I were going to Boston for Uncle Tom and Aunty Jen's wedding, and Memere and Pepere were going to come and stay with them. That, of course, led to many questions by Matt about weddings, and love, and why people get married. I explained that when two people grow up and fall in love, they get married, move into their own home and start a new family. Do they have babies when they get married? Sometimes they do. Do Uncle Tom and Aunty Jen want to have a baby? Someday.
So all was well... Mark and I went to Boston and had an awesome time at the wedding... Jen was gorgeous and glowing, Tom was radiant and resplendant... We ate, drank and were merry... Matt and Jill were thoroughly spoiled by my parents and apparently didn't miss us at all (Jill wouldn't even come to the phone when I called on Friday night!! *grumble grumble*), and Sunday we picked the kids up and went to the beach for Round 2 of Wedding Weekend Fun.
When Tom and Jen arrived at the beach, Matt took one shrewd look at them and said, eyebrow raised, "Where's the baby??" Apparently he thought that babies came immediately after the wedding.

lol! Well, I suppose for some people they do...
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I love that kid, he just comes out with the best stuff. Should be a stand up comedian! But I think he might have broken the 24 hour no questions about baby rule, lol
HA HA HA HA HA!!! That sounds like something Trevor would have said! Kids say the darnest things!
