Anecdotes

Mark picked Matt up last night and said, "Matt, you were such a good boy today. Thank you." And Matt replied, "Thanks Dad. Can I have a new train now?"

I was telling my friend Sarah that I feel like all my funny stories are about Matt and that poor Jill gets the shaft... it's just that it seems like at Matt's age, everything that comes out of his mouth is cute or funny. I'm sure Jill's time will come.

She does funny/cute things too... like right now she's constructing an elaborate story with her Care Bears, involving imaginary playgrounds and tea parties... but it's hard to describe those little everyday nuances in blog posts. Also, Jillian hates to be videotaped, so getting her to sing or dance on camera is near impossible. That's my little diva for you. :) So instead I file those memories away in my heart - the cuddles, the looks, the dances, the songs, the "I love you Momma's."
