Jillian's 9 Month Stats

Let's see... between 8 and 9 months...

Jillian learned how to pull herself to a standing position... she cut her two bottom teeth... started to babble a LOT more. She's started sleeping through the night consistently. She ate 2 1/2 meals a day... usually a piece of banana and some Cheerios for breakfast, some yogurt with fruit and cereal for lunch and some veggies and/or some cheese and/or avocado and/or some Cheerios/Puffs for supper. During her 8th to 9th month, I started making her baby food from scratch because she just didn't want the jarred stuff. It's actually pretty easy!! I made sweet potatoes, green beans, carrots, peas, apple sauce, mashed banana, avocado, and squash so far. She takes usually 3-4 eight ounce bottles per day. She learned how to drink from a sippy cup as well as a cup with a straw (just picked up Matt's one day and started drinking!). We only give her water in the cup though, because she likes to let it dribble out of her mouth and down her chin. She took two naps... one in the morning around 9:00 and one in the afternoon around 1:00. The naps usually last anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half. Not bad! At that age, I could usually just rock her with a bottle and put her down in her crib and she'd go right to sleep on her own. For clothes during her 8-9 month, she was wearing 3-6 month clothes.

At her 9 month appointment, her stats were:

Sex
= girl
Age = 9 Months
Length = 26.5 inches
Weight = 16.0 pounds

Based on the data you submitted, your child falls into the following percentiles:

Length = 10th percentile
Weight = 5th percentile

So she's still a little peanut. :) Her favorite toys are her Leap Frog Learning table and her Weeble Castle, as well as anything that Matt has. Favorite food... Sweet potato with apple or avocado.
