...that I'd like to keep Matt this age forever. He's so freakin' cute lately. The things he comes out with never cease to amaze me and make me laugh. Like the way he tells me, "Carepul mommy!" when I'm helping him down the stairs... The way he takes his King and Lightening McQueen cars and has McQueen "PUSH PUSH PUSH!" King on the floor, just like in the movie. The way he grabs Jillian's burp cloth and/or bibs off the couch and throws them through the cat door leading down into the basement - because he's seen me open the door and throw dirty laundry down there. The way he's so polite and says "Keez!" (please) and "Keek-oo!" (thank you) and "Doo-me!" (excuse me), without even needing prompting. When he's done his water, he'll run into the kitchen and put it in the sink, then run up to me and say, "keek-oo Mumma!" The way he's so friendly and says "HI!" to everyone he passes in the store. The list goes on and on...
We were watching The Polar Express tonight and he kept running up to me all excited with updates - "MUM! Kick-it (ticket!), boy dlop it! Uh oh! Kick-it flying!"
It just hit me today watching him play. If I could just stop time and have him this age forever I'd do it in a heartbeat. I love his little personality and the little boy he's become so much.
Jillian is improving, too. Her crazy time between 5:00-7:00 PM isn't nearly as crazy as it used to be. Her naps are improving, as is her night time sleep. She's been sleeping from 6:30/7:00 until 3:00 or 4:00 AM. That is certainly nice. Her favorite past time these days seems to be a toss up between staring up at me adoringly and ever-so-gently exploring my face with her hands (SO sweet!) and laughing hysterically every time Matt says something to her. :) She's sitting up propped on her hands for longer and longer periods now, too.
I took both kids to see Santa on Thursday. I knew it would either be a wonderful experience, or be a disaster - no in between. LOL! If you remember, Matt FREAKED last year when we tried to put him on Santa's lap. This year, I've been talking the man in the jolly red suit up since shortly before Halloween. ;-) I even took him to the mall a couple of times to visit Santa from a distance. My efforts must have worked, because Matt loved Santa this year. Ran right up to him calling Santa!! and said, "up up up!" with his arms out. "Santa" was awesome. He got down to Matt's level and said, "I remember you! You were a good boy this year!" and commented on the Matchbox cars Matt had in his hands. Well, that was it, Santa has a friend for life now! :)

So cute! Usually Santa pictures with more than one child are a disaster - one not looking, one crying, etc. This one is great! And Matt's little sentences sound adorable.
