I have the same bad habit of a lot of moms I know - when I see some sort of foreign sticky substance on my kids' faces, I just feel absolutely compelled to stick my thumb in my mouth, reach out and swipe that grime off of their faces. I just can't help myself. So today, on the way to the kids' dentist appointment, I noticed that Jill had some peanut butter from lunch on her cheek. In went the thumb and off came the peanut butter.
Jillian said: "Ewww! Mumma, I don't like your kisses!"
Me: "What? Why don't you like my kisses?"
Jillian: "I like your regular kisses, mumma, but I don't like your thlumb kisses. "
