We finally got around to fully converting Jillian’s crib to a full-sized bed. We bought the crib knowing it was a “lifetime” style crib, in that it converted from a crib, to a toddler bed, and now finally, a full-sized bed. The back part of the crib became the headboard, and the front of the crib can be used as a footboard (although we decided to go without the footboard for now).
Jill happily picked out her bedding today at the store and as soon as everything was washed, dried and on the bed, she wanted to go straight to sleep in it. I have to admit, it is very comfy. :)
And, I must say, I wasn’t completely sold on a full, because, well, Jill is so freaking tiny, and her room isn’t that big either, but now that it’s set up, it does look really cute, and it’s nice to know that if we ever have overnight guests, her room and bed will work nicely.
It’s another milestone passed… one more step towards her growing up. I don’t know if I can stand it! :)
