The simple things...

As a stay-at-home-mom, one needs to focus on the simple pleasures in life:

• Watching your three year old complete her first "real" jigsaw puzzle and the look of sheer joy and pride on her face when she realizes what she just accomplished.
• Having a birthday party for a stuffed animal, just for fun:

• A cute little girl asking your 5 year old son if he'll be her boyfriend, and him responding, "Sure, I guess so."  Then the little girl turning to her "older" (7 year old) sister with hands on her hips, proclaiming, "See? I have a boyfriend, too!"
• Realizing the shirt that your three-year-old daughter just grew out of is a size 12 mos.
• And finally, putting the kids to bed, relaxing on the couch with this on your lap:
