Happy birthday to my baby girl!

I can't believe it's been three whole years since the whirlwind that was Jill's birth!! Where has the time gone? She's come such a long way - gone is the cranky, sensitive, stubborn, impatient and colicky newborn. She's become a... well... um... a cranky... uh... sensitive... stubborn and impatient... toddler. Okay, so maybe she hasn't come a long way.

LOL! Nah, I shouldn't say that. She may be sensitive, stubborn and impatient, but she's also fiercely independant, very affectionate, smart as a whip, creative, artistic and has an amazing sense of humor and imagination for her age. For every one of her "quirks," there is something equally endearing and lovable about my spirited little princess. Her perfectionist personality requires a different type of parenting that what I use for Matthew, but in many ways, too, she is a lot easier to parent. She eats well and a variety of foods, she was a breeze to potty train, she sleeps really well, and the fact that she's so independant means that she learned to dress herself and choose her own clothes long before Matthew.

I wouldn't trade my little Jill Pickle for anything in the world. I love you Jillian! Happy birthday sweet heart!
