Dear Mr. Sun

Dear Mr. Sun,

I don't know what kind of game you're playing, but seriously, if you do not make an appearance soon, I can't guarantee that I will not go absolutely bonkers. If my children cannot go outside to play, I will surely go mad. They're bored, they have too much pent up energy, and most importantly, they are constantly annoying each other and thus, annoying me. We've painted, colored, played with Legos, played dress up, played house, read stories, ran various and sundry errands, taken naps, watched enough TV to fry our brains, but there is just no helping it. They need you. I need you. I cannot be held responsible for what will happen if you do not come back soon. And that will be on your conscience, my friend. So please, in the name of all things holy, wake up and come out from wherever you are hiding, unless you want to see me being wheeled off to the looney bin.

Sincerely,

Kelly

When I spent my time home with our boys and got cooped up like that, I would take them to the mall. A lot of malls in our area have kid zones where they can run around and play with other sun-deprived kids. :) Something like that in your area?

If only I could ship some your way! We've been hot & sunny for several days straight and I for one am sick of these high temps!!

I hope the sun travels to you soon!

I'm with Sara...I'll trade you in a heart beat. We had (note past tense) our share of rainy days...but now this unrelenting sun & triple digit temp numbers are no fun either!
