A running list of a SAHM [Part one]

Just in case there are those of you who wonder what we do all day.

My day started at 6:30 AM.
  • Jill got up and climbed into my bed, crying and demanding a snuggle.
  • Matt ran in, asked for breakfast.
  • Sent them downstairs, pulled on my robe and some flannel pants, headed downstairs, averting a crisis when Jill wanted to be carried and I offered to hold her hand instead.
  • Made Matt (frozen) pancakes
  • Put water on for Jill for oatmeal
  • Got them sippy cups of water (with ICE!)
  • Scrubbed out the pots from last night's supper.
  • Washed the coffee pot and started coffee.
  • Emptied the dishwasher. Put dishes away.
  • Filled dishwasher w/ dirty dishes
  • Eye drops for Matt
  • Cleaned up kitchen after breakfast
  • Broke up a fight over a ball between the kids (ball is now on top of the fridge).
  • Helped Jill pick out clothes and get dressed.
  • Played "Magic Tricks," "Store," and "Pet store" with kids
  • Sat down to check email and drink one cup of coffee
  • Started this blog post.
  • Now off to get Matt dressed and myself showered.
Time now: 8:30 AM.

To be continued...
