"Any fool knows men and women think differently at times, but the biggest difference is this. Men forget, but never forgive; women forgive, but never forget."— Robert Jordan

I just thought that I'd comment on yesterday's posts... That was actually a slow day for me. ;) I didn't actually have to go anywhere or take the kids anywhere. So imagine what it's like on a day that I have to drive Matt back and forth to preschool, or drive them to swim class, gymnastics, the library, play dates, food shopping, the gym, doctor's appointments, etc. And usually I pick one "deep cleaning" chore each week. Last week I shampoo'd the rug in the family room, for example.

So my point is that even though it may seem like a stay at home mom has it easy, we don't really. Not that I'm complaining. Quite the contrary, actually. I wouldn't want any other job in the world and I'm very content with my life. I am very proud of what I do and what I accomplish, and I'm extremely sensitive about my job because of that. It bothers me when people insinuate that as a stay at home mom, I'm "bored" or that I'm not living up to my potential. Honestly, my "job" challenges me every day and I think that there's no more important profession in the world.

Oh come off it now - we know all you really do is eat Ben & Jerry's while watching soaps all day. You let the kids play in the toilet and shampoo the cat. Just kidding. Hat's off to you. I wish all moms were as great as you.

Whoever thinks that about a SAHM has never tried it... I work 20 hours a week, but my hours at home are way more work. They are more fun though:) Sometimes I really am sad that we don't live to close anymore Kelly... Miss you!

Tina, I think that all the time - I miss you, too!! There's only one thing for it, you're going to have to move back. ;) Love you!

Kelly I loved the last couple entries!
I think being a SAHM is the most difficult job there is. Which is why I recently put in my notice. Raised the white flag. lol
It is damn hard work and I am in awe of anyone who can do it. But you take it a step further because you enjoy it. It tells me that you are pretty amazing and your kids and hubby are pretty lucky to have you. :D
