Day Three

She just told me she had to go, and with a little encouragement, she sat on the potty and pee'd!!!!!! She still cried a bit, but she told me she had to go!! How cool is that?

And can I just say that Matthew has been incredible? With no prompting from us, he's pretty much taken her under his wing and encouraged, cheered, and helped her every step of the way so far. I don't think it's a coincidence that five minutes before she pee'd this morning, he took her into the bathroom, showed her his "big boy underpants" and then said, "Watch me, Jill, I'm going to go on the potty and it's not scary, see?"
