My little vegetarian

Jillian's favorite thing to eat for lunch:

This is what she calls "salad." It consists of raw red peppers, cucumbers, raw carrots, grape tomatoes, and a string cheese (the cheese I have to encourage her to eat, just for some protein, otherwise she'd be happy with just the veggies). Compare it to Matt's typical lunch of peanut butter - no jelly - on white bread - no crusts. Example number #127 of how my kids are complete opposites.

How about combining the two at snacktime. Give them cut up celery and apple slices and peanutbutter for dipping. They'd get the protein AND the veg/fruits! :o)
(I LOVE string cheese by the way. I keep a package of it at work and eat a couple every day for my "breakfast". LOL

Jill hates peanut butter. LOL! But luckily both kids love fruit. Matt will actually eat green beans and every once in a blue moon, corn. But that's about it. :)
