"Any fool knows men and women think differently at times, but the biggest difference is this. Men forget, but never forgive; women forgive, but never forget."— Robert Jordan

Day One of Potty Training Boot Camp

9:33 am
We're going cold turkey... about a half an hour ago I put underwear on her - regular cotton underpants. We made a sticker chart, sat on the potty for about 15 minutes watching Princess podcasts on my iTouch, got down and had our first accident. But at least she was in the bathroom at the time and calmed down pretty quickly and I convinced her to try again. Wish me luck.

10:06 am
I managed to get her to sit on the potty again and killed some time by giving her a pedicure. Nothing yet, though.

12:25 pm
Still nothing on the potty, but she had another accident. This is only the second pee accident and there haven't been any poop accidents. I just told her it was okay, cleaned her up and told her to choose a new pair of underpants. I said, "do you want Dora underpants, or Zoey underpants? You choose." She said, and I quote, "I choose a diaper."

Only problem is that she peed a little on her blanky, and we're coming up on nap time. I just put the blanky on speed wash in the washing machine.

1:00 pm

Nap time... put her on the potty and she didn't do anything. Put her in a pull-up for her nap.

3:59 pm
Got her up from her nap, and her pull-up was still dry/clean, so I put her right on the toilet and..... SHE PEED!! {insert much excitement and dancing around the house} Jillian seemed absolutely terrified by the whole thing, though, so I'm not sure how this is going to go. And she still hasn't pooped. That's making me nervous, to be honest.

5:42 pm
Still no poop. Several times I've noticed her squirming and looking nervous, so I've put her on, but aside from a few "toots," nothing. Those that know Jill know that this is very odd for her.

6:13 pm

Another pee accident. On the couch. Par for the course I suppose. We're now watching Elmo's Potty Time, compliments of our neighbors Richard and Eli.
