Santa baby
Yes, Santa is already in his "village" at the Mall. In fact, the village was set up a week before Halloween. Sheesh! So anyway, when we were at the Mall on Saturday, I asked the kids if they wanted to say hi to Santa (no pictures though... $21.99 for 4 measly 3X5's?? Highway robbery!), and Matt was very enthusiastic; Jill, not so much. When it was our turn, Matt marched right up to the jolly man in the big red suit and said, all in one breath, "Hi-I'm-Matthew-D-I've-been-a-really-good-boy-this-year-and-I-want-a-Rocky-and-a-Stanley-for-Christmas!" Rocky and Stanley are Thomas Trains. Of course. I think Matt had been rehearsing his speech the entire time we were in line. LOL. Jill hid her head in my shoulder and would peek her eyes out and give Santa a shy/coy little grin every now and then, but that's all we could get out of her. But right on cue, as we were pulling out of the parking lot an hour later, she said, "I wanna see Santa and tell him what I want for Chrithmath." Good thing Christhmath is still a month and a half away. :)
