Things that make you go hmm...

So we're in this interactive Crush/Nemo show at EPCOT... and Crush asks the audience members to shout out names of countries... I don't know what was more disturbing, the fact that an adult man shouted out "Africa" or that "Crush" (or rather the guy behind the scenes that was doing the voice of the turtle) didn't correct him. :heh:

 No wonder people from other countries think Americans are idiots.

Another "hmmm..." moment in Disney.

We were sitting on the bus from Downtown Disney back to our resort on Sunday (the last day). We were hot, we were tired, and yes, we were cranky. We had one of those ultra-annoying moms behind us. You know the type, where she sits there and speaks extra loud and tries to show off 1) her perfect parenting abilities and 2) how brilliant her child is. So the whole ride home, she's sitting there prodding and quizzing her 4 year old, who looks like he just wants her to shut up and let him sleep. She's saying, "What starts with the letter A, Tristan? Tristan, what starts with A?" And then when he ignores her, she starts rattling off... "Ant, Avacado, yadayada... then she says, "Ampersand..." :heh: Mark and I were just shaking our heads. Actually, Mark was ready to smack that lady. :giggle: We were joking after that he should have turned around and said, a la Achmed the Dead Terrorist, "SILENCE!!! I kill you!!!" :lmao:

Oh, and another good one... we're in the Hall of Presidents in Magic Kingdom, and each of the animatronic presidents stands up and "nods" when his name is called... so last up (obviously) is President Bush, and some lady in the front starts booing. :heh: Booing at an animatronic president at an amusement park. Classy.
