The Brocolli Story

Due to popular demand, here's the broccoli story:

I haven't posted this yet because it happened on Christmas Eve and didn't have time to post it, and then I kept forgetting. ;-) So here it is. Christmas Eve I was making a broccoli and cheese calzone for Michelle's Christmas party and I was chopping up some broccoli in the kitchen. Matt kept running in asking for, "Blockali, keeze, mumma! Blockali!" So Mark and I were like, 'Great! Our son likes raw brocolli! This is wonderful! Here sweetie, have all the broccoli you want!' We kept giving him little pieces and he'd run into the family room and come back a couple of minutes later and ask for more. We were ecstatic! Finally, a vegetable he likes!! After the third or fourth time asking for "Blockali" it got really quiet in the living room. Mark and I went in to inspect. There was Matthew, on the floor next to his train tracks, with little pieces of broccoli lined up all along the track. LOL!! He looked up at us and said, "Mumma, Daddy, Look! TREES!!"
