She ate (and enjoyed) solids!!

I vowed to wait to give Jillian solids until I was sure she was ready because I think that I started Matt too early and pushed it too much and I believe that it contributed to his finicky eating habits. Anyway, I had tried half-heartedly a couple of times and she always pushed it right back out of her mouth, so I didn't force it. But since she's sitting without assistance, reaches for utensils when people are eating, and seemed really interested whenever we eat, I gave it another go tonight. She seemed to really like it this time and gobbled up almost two tablespoons of rice cereal mixed with a half an ounce of formula!! Here are some pictures (the first one is my favorite):
