Prenatal Appointment Today

Business as usual... I put on one pound over the last 2 weeks, making me 144.5, for a total of a 20 pound weight gain so far... BP was 118/70, fundal height was still about one-week behind at 33 cm (I'll be 34 weeks on Wednesday), and Jillian's heartrate was 144 BPM. Dr. Lemonnier said I was doing great and she'll see me in 2 weeks. She also told me to make an appointment for one last ultrasound. YAY!! One last sneak peek at my little girl! This ultrasound is to check on lung development and the position of the baby. Keep your fingers and toes crossed that she's head down!!

Had a little bit of a panic today, though... I realized that I have 6 weeks to go and have NONE of the logistics worked out yet. For instance, if I go into labor in the middle of the night, who will watch Matt? Michelle offered at one point, I'll have to see if she's still up for it. ;-) What about if I go during the day? Will whoever watches Matt want to stay here with him, or do I need to have a bag packed for him, too? For that matter, I haven't even thought about packing MY bag yet. The infant carseat is still down in the basement in storage... I'll have to have Mark dig that out for me so I can wash the seat and stuff... geez... I have a lot left to do!!

Matt's new words o' the day:
  1. Car: "Caaaaa" (said with a true N.E. accent, of course)
  2. Bath: "Baaattttt" (LOL!!)
